| HOMEWORK
I will start sending home "homework" on Tuesdays. It will come home in
a "homework packet" and will have a signature sheet on the front. Please do
the homework with your child and return the packet on Fridays.
Always read to your child. Ask questions about the story. Talk about what
happened at the beginning, in the middle, and at the end. Have them retell
the story to you.
Remind them to point and track the words when they read to you from
their "Song and Poetry Journals" and "Reading Journals".
Tuesday-"M&M Graph"
Wednesday- Practice writing your first and last name on the page provided
Thursday- Talk about the field trip; have them draw a picture of their
favorite part and try to write about it (or label it)
*Practice recognition of numbers from 0-20
* Review sight words and keep at home
* Review all letters and sounds
I am beginning to access for report cards for the 2nd nine weeks
*Remember to intial each square on your child's folder each day
