WELCOME TO MRS. MARTIN'S KINDERGARTEN CLASS!
Hello Kindergarten Families!
** Remember to review your letters, sound, numbers and counting to 100 as
time allows. Practice the list of High Frequency Words and the list of C-V-C
Words that can be found inside your Reading Journal .
** Alligator Bayou will be cancelled due to the weather. We will plan
another field trip. Details will be coming home shortly.
** Don't forget to read from your “Reading Journal” daily. Have
your “Reading Buddy” read with you! Have someone read aloud the sentences to
you and then you read to them. Remember to go from the left to the right as
you read aloud. Please "finger-point" each word as you read. Have fun!
** Continue to practice their reading stories that come home in their
binders.
** Please save your empty 2 liter bottles and send them to school as you get
them. We will be using them for an activity towards the end of the year.
**April book order will be coming home this week . You may make a check out
to Scholastic Book Clubs or you may order online if you wish.

Continue to check your child's BINDER daily. There are
important papers that come home for you to see!
