Hi! Welcome to
Mrs. Thorne’s Kindergarten!
I have taught kindergarten for the past twenty-three years! And---I love it!
I’m so proud and honored to teach here in Zachary.
Having two grown children and two grandchildren (and one on the way), I know
how it feels to place your child, your heart, into someone else’s care! Rest
assured your child is in kind and loving hands. I will nurture, respect and
love your child. I will encourage and guide your child’s learning in a
developmentally appropriate and FUN way. And---I want you to feel welcomed.
I want and need your help. Come help in the class and join us on field trips—
I love my parents and grandparents!
If you don’t already know it---My Class Motto is “Love & Kindness.” We
practice this daily. It is an ongoing lesson---which we promise will
never end. We take an oath at the beginning of the year to practice
“Love & Kindness” daily and to pass it on. With “Love and Kindness” our
lives will be assured happiness!
