HOMEWORK:
TUESDAY: Review the letters of the alphabet. Review their sounds.
WEDNESDAY: Continue to practice recognizing and writing the numerals 0-20.
Start practicing counting 0-100 by tens and by ones.
THURSDAY: Look for things in your home that come in a "PAIR". (Example: a
pair of socks, a pair of gloves, a pair of mittens, etc.) Bring a pair of
gloves or a pair of mittens to school tomorrow, Friday, if you have a pair at
home. We will be using them to do a graphing activity.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO RETURN THE HOMEWORK FOLDER/READING JOURNAL ON FRIDAY!
Remember to read from your "Reading Journal" daily. There will be
poems/songs/recipes,etc. that you can sing and cook with your parents. The
alphabet will be included to practice letter recognition and the sounds that
represent them. There will be "Sight Words/High Frequency Words" that you
can practice. There will also be sentences that you can read. Have someone
read aloud the sentences to you and then you read to them. Remember to go
from the left to the right as you read aloud. Please "finger-point" each
word as you read.
Have fun!
