HOMEWORK:
TUESDAY: Practice reciting your speaking parts for the Christmas Program.
We will be practicing the songs at school. Please practice these speaking
parts daily. (Remember the Christmas program is next week. It is on
Wednesday, December 10th at 10:00 a.m. in the music room. Please try to
come.)
WEDNESDAY: Tell your parents all about our field trip today to Christmas
Forest. What was your favorite part?
THURSDAY: ("Vv" is for vegetable.) Have your parents help you cut up a
vegetable and place it inside the ziplock bag. It could be a potato, a
carrot, an onion, or some peas or beans. Remember to bring it to school
tomorrow. We will be making "Stone Soup".
Please remember to return the Homework Folder/Reading Journal on Friday.
Remember to read from your "Reading Journal" daily. There will be
poems/songs/recipes,etc. that you can sing and cook with your parents.
There will also be sentences that you can read. Have someone read aloud the
sentences to you and then you read to them. Remember to go from the left to
the right as you read aloud. Please "finger-point" each word as you read.
