I am Leagh Carlton and I'm excited to be teaching first grade at
Northwestern Elementary this year! I guess you could call me the
"beekeeper." This is my 7th year in education (my 6th year of
teaching first grade). First grade is such an awesome year for
children and the teacher. The students learn so much!!!
Also, I graduated from LSU and still love and support the TIGERS!!
I will strive to meet the individual needs of every student and take them as
far as they can go. With help from the parents and the Zachary Community
School system, we can accomplish these goals and have a wonderful school
year! I love working with my students, their parents, my collegues and the
administration. We are sure to have a great school year full of learning and
growing!
