About The Teacher and Para-Educators

Hello! My name is Tonja Early Granville. The 2009-2010 school year will be
my 14th year teaching. I have a B.S. from Southern University in Speech
Pathology and Audiology. I am certified in Special Education Mild/Moderate
Disabilities. I love being able to enrich the total development of the
students that I teach. My teaching career began in the East Baton Rouge
Parish School System. This year will be my fourth year teaching in Zachary.
I am a Baton Rouge native and mother of two beautiful children.

Ms. Kelly Sanders has been a para-educator for the past six years. She has
worked in EBR and now loves being in the Zachary Community School District.
Ms. Sanders has worked with children with significant disabilities and now
brings her expertise to the preschool setting.

Mrs. Rebecca Strickland has been working within the Zachary Community School
District for six years. She enjoys being a para-educator within the
preschool class. Ms. Rebecca shows compassion and care to the students
within the preschool classroom.

As a collaborative team, we will provide a learning environment that is
conducive to the total development of our students. We are truly grateful to
have an opportunity to touch the lives of each of our students.

To whom much is given, much is required.

We will plant seeds, water them daily and watch them blossom!
