Phonics: soft /j/ and /s/ sounds
Spelling: Theme 3, Lesson 13- Words for the week are: slice dodge

TEST THURSDAY
English: Possessive Nouns: Singular and Plural. Study the worksheets glued
into the Englsih notebook for poessessives. For the test students should be
able to write possessive nouns correctly.
TEST FRIDAY
Reading: Our story for the week is “Big Bushy Mustache”. We are also
comparing fiction and nonfiction works.
TEST FRIDAY
High Frequency Words: wear, young, wash, tough, shoes, above, woman
Robust Vocabulary: wilting, flitted, swirling, trance, route, semblance,
distraught, improvise
Math: Chapter 12, Money. Practice counting money to prepare for the test!!!
It is very important to stay on top of the subtraction and addition facts!
Please practice these at home on a regular basis.

Religion: Chapter 22, "God Calls Us to Love and Serve".
TEST NEXT WEEK
Social Studies: Unit 3 "Working Together". Please review state capitals on a
regular basis.
