Reading: Our story for the week is “Jamaica Louise James”. High
Frequency words are a review and the Robust vocabulary words will be in the
binder. TEST FRIDAY
High Frequency Words: bought, picture, draw, question, especially, sure,
minute, worry
Robust Vocabulary: filthy, fellow, executive, beautifying, renowned, kin,
original, adorn
Math: Chapter 11 "Practice 2 Digit Subtraction and Addition" TEST THURSDAY
Please stay on top of the basic addition/subtraction facts.
Spelling:
English: Abbreviations (days, months, titles) There will be a study guide in
the Spelling/English notebook.

Religion: Chapter 25, We Honor Mary and the Saints. TAKE HOME TEST TUESDAY

Science: Chapter 4 "Water Habitats" - Vocabulary words and outlines are in
the Science folder. TEST FRIDAY
Social Studies: STUDENTS WILL BRING THIS FOLDER HOME EVERYDAY THIS WEEK TO
BEGIN STUDYING. I will also send home practice sheets. Remember: students
are responsible for matching the state to the capital and placing the state
on a map. Students will not have to spell on the test.
