I am proud to say that I graduated from Prompt Succor and Holy Savior
Menard! I then went on to LSU and ended up getting my degree and teaching
certificate from Northwestern State University. I am currently working on my
Masters in Elementary Education.
This will be my fourth year teaching at OLPS and my second year as a second
grade teacher. I taught third grade my first two years of teaching. I
am thrilled to be in the second grade!
My husband Jamie and I have been married for three and a half years. Jamie
is a farmer who farms in Natchitoches parish. He farms corn, beans, wheat,
and also pecans. We live in Melrose on beautiful Cane River. We like to
spend our free time riding in our boat and skiing. We have a beautiful
little girl who is two years old. Her name is Georgia Kate and she is having
the time of her life in the Prompt Succor nursery. We are also expecting
another baby at the end of March. We are very excited! We have a chocolate
Lab named Bud.
My mission for the class is to provide a safe, loving and Christian
environment that promotes learning. I hope to instill a love of learning
that will follow my students throughout their lives.
