Week of: April 30 - May 4



This week we are learning about The Pond Habitat.  We will discuss different creatures that live in or near a pond.  This is a good chance to discuss amphibians, reptiles, fish, birds, mammals, and crustaceans.  If you did not see the note, we would love to see any pond-related animals or plants you may have!

READING:

New Skill: Punctuation and Capitalization

*Please make sure your child also knows number words 0-10 and color words: red, yellow, orange, green, blue, purple, brown, black, white.

MATH: Introduction to measurement using nonstandard objects. Review addition, subtraction, time, and money.

Spelling: 
We will not have any more spelling tests this year!
