REMINDERS:

Please be sure to put YOUR child's name on sweaters, jackets, sweatshirts, coats, etc. before they wear it to school. They get lost very easily and it helps if there is a name in it.

We go out everyday unless it is raining. Please dress your child appropriately.

**This week we will begin going to the 8:00 Mass on Thursday.

final consonants

color words

counts/identifies/writes numbers to 20

letter sounds for this 9 weeks are, B, K, F,I,G,

This week our schedule will include:

Reading- we will practice listening for the beginning sound in words, word blending, and using clues to draw conclusions. We will introduce the short Oo sound.

.Review high frequency words : I,go, a , my, to, the, like, he here, come,this,where and do. New words to practice are you and look

Math-We will begin counting to 100 by 10s

Social Studies- Winter

Religion- The Wisemen Visit Jesus and the Flight to Egypt are the topics we will talk about this week. January 8 is  the feast day of Our Lady of Prompt Succor.

We will also go over to church to practice for Mass.
