Test schedule for the week of January 4, 2010:
Reading: Lesson 17- Our story for the week is “Annie's gifts”.
Test on Friday.
Math: Chapter 15, Understanding Time- Test on Tuesday, 1/5. Please continue
to work on the basic facts. They are doing so well!
Spelling: Theme 4, Lesson 17- the short ea sound Test on Thursday. The
words for the week: heavy steady bread sweat head thread
breath ready meant health meadow instead breakfast
treasure feather weather spread dead lead wealthy
I will include 2 words from Lesson 16. There will be 3 sentences. I will be
looking for correct spelling, punctuation, capitals, and handwriting on the
sentences.
English: More adjectives- Test on Friday
Religion: Chapter 24, We Pray- Test on Wednesday.
Please go over prayers for First Reconciliation over the holidays. First
Reconciliation is February 25th.
Science: Unit C Chapter 6- I will assign a Dinosaur report on Tuesday 1/5.
Be thinking about which dinosaur you would like to write about.
