Novemeber 16-20:
REMINDERS: We will be going on a field trip to the Kent House Thursday, Nov.
19. If you would like to join us on the field trip, please meet us at the
Kent House around 8:45. This week is the Scholastic Book Fair. If you would
like to shop with your child, please come in the morning before school or
during a recess time. Recess times are: 9:15-9:30 or 11:00-11:30. You may
also send money and we will help them get the books.
UNIT: Thanksgiving
READING: We will be reviewing letters and making words using short
vowels /i/ and /a/. We will be discussing -it, -ig, -at, and -ag words
We will also be introducing our sight words: me & for. We will also be going
over rhyming words and decoding words.
Some are having trouble with these words. Please study these words each
evening!!!

MATH: We will be learning 11-20
RELIGION: We will be discussing different ways to give thanks and what it
means to be thankful.
WRITING: We will be practicing writing lower case letters. We will also be
practicing writing names. PLEASE PRACTICE WRITING NAMES AT HOME! We will
also be sending home homework to practice, please return the next day!
