Welcome to K-2!!
January 4-8:
REMINDERS: Please remember to put names on all sweaters, sweatshirts, and
jackets!! We will be going to church every Thursday, starting this week.
Please have your child here by 7:45. We will walk over to the church as a
class at 7:50. You may come to church with your child and sit behind all of
the Kindergarten classes. Friends of your child may not sit with you and
your child. Kindergarten sits all the way on the right, near the
confessionals.
UNIT: The Epiphany and Winter
READING: We will be reviewing all sounds. We will also be discussing
sounding out words. We will be discussing sh and ch. We will also be
introducing our sight words: what & two. We will also be going over rhyming
words and decoding words.
Some are having trouble with these words. Please study these words each
evening!!!

MATH: We will be discussing numbers 1-100 and we will be discussing counting
by 5's and 10's
RELIGION: We will be discussing the Wisemen
WRITING: We will be practicing writing lower case letters. We will also be
practicing writing names. PLEASE PRACTICE WRITING NAMES AT HOME! We will
also be sending home homework to practice, please return the next day!
