<DIV>We begin the 4th Quarter, and last quarter, of the year! This is what you can expect to learn this quarter: World History-We will finish with the Renaissance looking closely at the Age of Englightenment and the Age of Exploration.  We develop these transitions to understand the American and French Revolutions. American History-We will begin with a refresher on American government to help us to prepare for the GEE.  From there we will develop the beginnings of the Cold War out of World War Two and the foreign affairs that draw the U.S. into the Korean War and Vietnam War.  The Civil Rights Movement and the changes during the 1960s will be analyzed with depth. Civics-We finish the year with a look at Economics.  We will look at scarcity and how it drives economic decision making, the role of factors of production, supply and demand, the four market structure, competition, and the stock market all relating it to real life situations and examining the benefits, problems, and risks involved with our Free Market Economy.
