Monday, 11/16/2009 Photosynthesis: Producing Starch
Students will uncover the connection between
photosynthesis, chlorophyll, starch, and autumn
leaves through a "Questioning the Author" activity
and reading material on fall leaves.

Homework: Review Chapter 3, Section 3 notes on
Photosynthesis and Cellular Respiration
as well as Chapter 3 vocabulary.
Tuesday, 11/17/2009 Aerobic and Anaerobic Respiration
Students will use a Comparison Table to differentiate
the processes of aerobic and anaerobic respiration.

Wednesday, 11/18/2009 Fermentation
Students will engage in an experiment to understand
the process of anaerobic respiration (fermentation)
and how the body uses fermentation as a backup plan
for energy.

Thursday, 11/19/2009 Photosynthesis and Respiration Test Review
