Can anyone join the band?

Yes,  we are looking for anyone who wants to learn to play an 
insturment.

Do we need to bring our instruments to school everyday?

Yes!  Each student must bring their instrument,  music,  and a 
pencil to class each and every day.

Is band a graded class?

Yes!  The grading policy and general information about the class 
will be included in the band handbook.  You can find the band 
handbook under our "Handouts" link on the left column 
of this page.

What are the band booster fees this year?

Check with Mrs. Hicks.  It will be different for each student 
depending on what they already have and what they need to 
purchase.

Does it cost money to become a band booster?

Nope!  The booster club is totally on a volunteer basis,  with no 
dues whatsoever.  We just need some parental help every now and 
then, and having a booster club helps us out tremendously.

Can I still be in the band if I want to be on any of the sports teams?

Absolutely!  The band is a CLASS that takes place everyday.  The 
sports teams only meet after school and are not for a grade.  If 
we happen to have an after school rehearsal that coincides with a 
sports team practice,  then the coaches and I work it out.
