About The Teachers

We were both hired to teach 3rd grade at Platt in 1992. We've been team 
teaching together the past 8 years. 

Mrs. Turner graduated from Haughton High School and LSU-Shreveport. She
received her Master's Degree from Centenary College. She is married to Chris
Turner. They live in Haughton with their children, Will 11yrs, and Abigail 7yrs.

Mrs. Shilling graduated from Minden High School and Louisiana Tech. She is
married to Joel Shilling. They live in Haughton with three of their four boys;
Shane Bridges 21yrs, (Junior @ LSU Baton Rouge),Ryan Shilling 16yrs, Tyler
Bridges 14yrs, and Ty Shilling 13yrs.
