In phonics we will continue working with the ch, sh, wh, and th sounds.
Vocabulary - words to know by sight (not necessary to spell)
students - people who go to school to learn.
effort - trying hard to do something.
perform - to present something such as a play or a dance in front of an
audience.
mood - the way you feel.
remember - to think of something that happened in the past.
proud - feeling pleased and satisfied about something well done.
Reading - "Dancing as a Team" is a non-fiction story.
Reading Words for the week: brush, crush, inch, teeth, chop, each, munch,
which, crunch, fish, peach, white, about, because, they and for. These words
need to be studied for the oral reading word test on Friday.
Math - We are starting chapter 9 this week which covers money.
