Dear Parents,
We will study Egypt this week! I am asking each child to bring in the following items for our mummy project.
Thank you in advance for making P.E.S. the great place it is!!!
Items needed- ASAP/or byWed. May 16th
1. Shoe box
2. Newspaper – enough to make a head, arms, legs, and upper body.
3. Duct tape (any color) or wide roll for masking tape.
4. Items to decorate your box (feathers, stickers, etc.)
5. Glue- Elmer’s glue works well. I have only 2 bottles left from this year-if you could send a bottle that would be great!
This is our last fun in-class project! I believe the children will love the hands-on learning!

Oh my gosh, the teacher appreciation gifts were so amazing! The cards, notes, fruit, candy, flowers, and gift cards were over the top. The snacks and lunch were so delicious. I want to thank everyone for making my week feel so special. The children make me feel special each and every day, but last was just an amazing week filled with smiles, laughs, and fun! Thank you all again!!!

Our last project for this year will be on Weather! Your child may pick from a list I have put together or he/she may come to me for approval on an independent weather idea.
**You may take pictures of your project and present it by gluing the pictures on a poster board.
Your child may selectone of these topics: make a barometer, make fog in a jar, create a portable cloud, make a tornado, make lightning, twister in a jar, make convection currents, conduction, make a weather vane, or make a diagram of a cloud chart.
