Our class will march in the Krewe of Pontchartrain Parade on Friday,
Feb. 12th.at 1:45pm. We will be the "Little SAINTS" and wear Saints jerseys or
shirts with school bottoms, appropriate for the weather. If it is cold, please
layer clothing so their shirts will show, if possible. Children may throw
beads if they would like to. Please make packs of 10 beads and use a paper
strip to keep them together. Children will need to carry their bead bag, so
not too much please. It has been my experience that the shorter beads tangle a
lot less. Send the beads to school on the day of the parade, not before.
Parents are invited to watch the parade in the front of the school. If you
would like to march with us, please let me know. Our class will be represented
at the First Grade Ball by a maid and duke. Caroline and Andrew Masson will by
our maid and duke.
Valentine's Day - We will exchange valentines on Thurday, Feb. 11. Each
student should bring exactly 20 cards signed from them, but not addressed to
anyone. This makes delivery much smoother. If your card has a treat with it,
please make sure it is securely attached.
