Other Information:
My class will exchange Valentine’s Day Cards on 2/11/10.
PES’ Mardi Gras Ball will be on 2/8/10 at 2:15 PM. PES’ Mardi Gras Parade will be on 2/12/10. My class will represent the NO Saints Football Team. The children should wear black & gold clothing for this event.
The “I Think I Can” program is in progress. It is a very worthwhile program and I would like to get 100% participation if possible! Your child must participate in at least 5 of the 8 weeks of the program in order to attend the PES Celebration.
Please remember to send a note whenever your child is absent upon his/her return explaining why he/she missed school. I have to submit these to the office in order for the administration to classify the absence as excused or unexcused.
Please do not remove the Behavior Calendar from your child’s folder. It must be signed and returned at the end of the month.
Please keep your child’s library book in his/her backpack when not in use, so that the book will be available at school when needed.
Homework: Homework is due on Friday.
Sincerely,
Linda Savoy
