A Note From Ms. Farris- Week of February 8, 2010

**School will be dismissed two hours early tomorrow, at 1:51, so you may have time to go to the Saints' parade in New Orleans.  The New York Pizza Party will be rescheduled for March or April.

Dear Parents,

Tomorrow we will have a New York style pizza party in honor of our Mardi Gras costumes with Biagio Cucco of Biagio’s restaurant at 2:00 ish if you want to join us. Children may wear “street clothes” on Wednesday for spring pictures and must wear a white shirt and khaki pants on Friday as part of our parade costume!

This week we will continue to learn about the state of Louisiana, its symbols, and food. Our math focus is on numbers 0-20, time, and subtraction.  We will review letters Bb, Ee, and Ll, and the high frequency words this, do, and and what.
