If your child loses their Spelling/Vocabulary list, you may print them from this website at the link to your left.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO CHECK YOUR CHILD'S YELLOW HOMEWORK FOLDER EVERY NIGHT. They will have a Math worksheet to do and a Spelling sheet with Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, and Day 4 to do. On Monday, they will do Day 1, etc. If we are off on Monday, we will do the Day 1 in class. On Tuesday, they will pick up with Day 2.
All spelling homework will be done in the blue spelling notebook. They are to write in their very best handwriting. Monday-Write spelling words 1-5 three times each, Tuesday-Write spelling words 6-10 three times each, Wednesday night-Pick any three of the week's spelling words and write one sentence with each, Thursday night-Write spelling words one time each. Study for spelling test.
Test on Friday.
The Tuesday folders are very important. This folder allows you to see how well your child is "catching on" each week. When you get the folders on Tuesday, please look over the papers (I am not perfect. I could make a mistake checking). Check over the items that your child got incorrect and go over it with them. This will be more reinforcement of the task they may have not understood. ALL of the papers in the Tuesday folders are to be returned with the Tuesday folders on Wednesday.
