SLIDELL/PEARL RIVER PROJECT GRADUATION
Project Graduation is an annual community-sponsored, parent
coordinated, alcohol and drug-free event that allows the senior
classes of Salmen, Pope John Paul II, Slidell, Pearl River, and
Northshore High Schools to enjoy an all-night celebration on the
night of their respective graduations in May.
The Project Graduation organization has been successful in
preventing the needless loss of life due to an alcohol or drug
related accident on graduation night. The motto of Project
Graduation is:
*If just one young life is saved, it is all worthwhile.*
.
Parent volunteers and corporate sponsors are needed to help with
this worthwhile event! CHECK THE WEBSITE FOR MORE INFORMATION.

CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE:
About 600 schools nationwide (including Tulane & Xavier) require
students to fill out the CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE to determine
eligibility for non-federal forms of financial aid. This form is
more detailed than the FAFSA and will ask a lot of questions
about your family's assets. Also, unlike the FAFSA, there's a
cost associated with the PROFILE; there is a $5 fee for
filing online and you'll pay $18 for every school to which you
have the results sent.
You can complete the PROFILE online here

ACADEMIC COMMON MARKET
If a public institution in Louisiana does not offer a degree
program in your field of study, it may be possible to arrange a
waiver of out-of-state tuition for you to pursue that program at
a cooperating public institution of higher education in another
state. The states which have agreed to this arrangement together
form the Academic Common Market. Currently, ACM-participating
states are: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Georgia, Kentucky,
Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Oklahoma, South Carolina,
Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.
