About The Teacher
I was born in Odessa, TX, but I moved to Slidell, LA when I was six years old. I graduated from Northshore High School in 1997 and went on to The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, MS to graduate with a B.A. in secondary English and a minor in Spanish. I am brand new to the Salmen family. I am very excited to be teaching upper grades and continue to learn and grow from all the experiences of teaching.

Mission
A mission is something you set out to do and are determined to accomplish. For all my classes, I intend to use all the resources I have available to me in order to make the learning environment more stimulating and enjoyable to each and every student. It is very important to me to not only engage ALL learners, but to also ensure they are enjoying the learning experiences they encounter.
