From Two Dimensional to Three Dimensional Creating an Armature

Standards and Benchmarks:
Objectives:
To develop a wire armature of 3 dimension from a drawing of a Welch Love Spoon. Create an armature in correct proportion to its’ drawing. Assembling 100 % of armature and start developing second half.
Creating embellishments for the armature.
Resources and Materials:
The Drawing, 16 and 18 gauge wire, pliers needle nose cutters, masking tape, and glasses.
Differentiation:
Student selection of appropriate materials and tools to work with. Checking (progress 2) 9 week project.
Preparing Students for the Lesson:

Practice using hand tools in reproducing a design; following the process of assembling an armature. Armature in correct proportion to its’ drawing.
