Unit Description:  Linear Relations Solving Equations

Essential Questions:

·         What kinds of real life situations can be modeled by linear relationships?

·         Which format for representing a linear relationship is most appropriate for a given situation?

·         Why is it important to be able to express relationships as equations?  What information is needed in order to write these equations?

·         How do changes in equations lead to changes in graphs?
