About The Teacher

I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in English Education at Southeastern 
Louisiana University.  This is my third year at Salmen High 
School.  I was born and raised in Houston, Texas, but have lived in 
Louisiana for nineteen years.  I LOVE the food and traditions that make this 
state so unique!  I have been married to my husband, Mike for thirty two 
years. (High school sweethearts!)  We have three wonderful children; Derek 
(28), Joel (26), and Holly (23).

Mission For The Class

My mission as a teacher is to be a facilitator in building a foundation for 
lifelong learning. Students will be allowed to experience success without 
the fear of failure.
