About The Teacher
I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in English Education at Southeastern Louisiana University. This is my fifth year at Salmen High School. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas, but have lived in Louisiana for twenty-one years. I LOVE the food and traditions that make this state so unique! I have been married to my husband, Mike for thirty four years. (High school sweethearts!) We have three wonderful children; Derek (30), Joel (28), and Holly (25).
