Welcome to my Web Page. This is my 5th year teaching at Salmen High
School. I am a proud 1988 graduate of Salmen. I received a Bachelor's
Degree from SLU in 1993. I worked in the insurace field for 10 years. I
always wanted to be a teacher but I mistakenly chose a different field for
financial reasons. I returned to UNO to get my teaching certificate in
2003. I chose special education because I always loved my homeroom class in
high school. My homeroom was in the moderate class. The students with
disabilites in my homeroom taught me so much about life. They always seemed
to have a positive outlook and an upbeat attitude. I think of them still
when I'm tired and unmotivated, they give me strength. My husband of 13
years is a physical Science teacher here at Salmen. We have two children,
Olivia, 8, and Luke, 7. I love what I do and strive to always be better.
