Weekly Overview:

Unit Description: Unit 2: Linear Relations

Essential Questions:How can I tell if a relationship is linear?  Why would I want to know? - What kinds of real life situations can be modeled by linear relationships? - Which format for representing a linear relationship is most appropriate for a given situation? - Why is it important to be able to express relationships as equations?  What information is needed in order to write these equations? - How do changes in equations lead to changes in graphs?

Resources/Materials: ELMO, projector, laptop, powerpoint, guaranteed curriculum, graphing calculators, worksheets, rulers, eggspert, test

Standards/Benchmarks/GLEs: 13, 25, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40
