School News/Information

SCHOOL UNIFORMS: ALL students must come to school dressed in the MANDATORY school uniform (black, white or grey polo style shirt w/collar (2-3 buttons ONLY) and khaki pants. Salmen is NO longer loaning out uniforms to students that come to school out of uniform. They will have to call home and have a parent/guardian bring them a uniform and/or go to in-house. This could also result in a Saturday detention for non-compliance.

STUDENT ID: All students should be wearing a picture ID. If you do not have one you need to go to the Cafeteria (PBIS store) between 7:10-7:20 and purchase a new one for $3.00 or a temporary for $1.00 before the school day begins. The IDs given to you in the beginning of the year with no picture should no longer be worn. ID's obtained after the first bell rings (7:25) will result in a lunch detention.

BUS HOTLINE: Parents/Guardians should contact the Transportation Department to find out what bus their student will ride. The number is 985-898-3373. You can also access this information from the St. Tammany Parish School Board Website at https://stpsb.org/transportation.

EMERGENCY CARDS: Each year a parent/guardian MUST complete a NEW Emergency Card per student. New cards will be sent home with each student on the first day of the new school year. As a courtesy, Student Services ALWAYS makes contact with the parent/guardian when someone other than the parent/guardian attempts to check a student out of school. (*If a student does NOT have a current emergency card on file they will NOT be allowed to attend school functions)

It is also important to keep your address & phone numbers up-to-date. If you have moved, please contact the school for the proper address change information paperwork.
