The new Salmen High School chapter of the Mu Alpha Theta Mathematics Honor
Society is offering math tutoring before school, lunch time, and after
school. Any Salmen student can take advantage of this service that the Mu
Alpha Theta members are providing. Students can get help with math homework
or prepare for math tests. Check out the tutoring schedule posted on the door
of room 202.

Salmen High School hopes to begin a Recycling Program on campus soon. On
this website is information regarding Phoenix Recycling for your home.
Anyone can sign up for home recycling through this company. By doing so, you
will help the school offset the cost of recycling on campus. Ask your
family, friends and neighbors to consider recycling with Phoenix.

The Salmen High PTSA will begin to use a data base system to manage our PTSA
membership that has been recommended and paid for by the National PTA. The
system we will use is from "Just Between Friends." Parents that joined the
PTSA in 2008-09 should have received an e-mail from
www.justbetweenfriends.com" to validate their e-mail address in the system.
You will NOT receive "unsolicated" e-mails from this company. This is just a
great new tool to help with communications to parents/guardians and will also
help us keep records of our membership.
