About The Teacher
I received a B.A. from Southeastern Louisiana University majoring in both Social Studies and Speech. I have eighteen years of teaching experience and I look forward to many more. I have taught on both the junior high and high school level. Most of my teaching experience has been in the field of Social Studies. I've taught American History, World History, Louisiana History, World Geography, Communism, Free-Enterprise, Sociology and Civics. This semester I will be teaching World Geography in the 9th Grade Academy. I am very excited to have this opportunity to work with your children. I know they are your most precious gift. I also enjoy being a student. It just seems that the older I become the more I find there is for me to learn. I have continued my education in the field of Social Studies at UNO. I also attend Social Studies'seminars and conventions. There is so much to learn! There is so much to share!
