Essential Questions: What are the properties that make polygons different from each other?

Standards/Benchmarks/GLEs:10, 9, 11, 19, 16

Objectives:

To go over classroom rules and procedures

To identify, name, and describe polygons

To use the sum of the measures of the interior angles of a quadrilateral

To develop and use properties of parallelograms

To prove a quadrilateral is a parallelogram

The students will use the properties of sides, angles, and diagonals of rhombuses, rectangles, and squares
