Academy Offenses are recorded in the agenda book.  
1.	Willful disobedience
2.	Treats an authority with disrespect
3.	Makes an unfound charge against authority
4.	Uses profane language
5.	Dress code violation
6.	other�(Picks on another student, lying, cheating, stealing)

Late work
	HEAT room. The student is assigned to the HEAT room if 
he/she doesn't do his/her homework. The student is in the HEAT room 
for the entire lunch period (lunch will be brought to the student). 
During that time, the teacher will assist with any problems with the 
homework, and the student is to do the assignment, and turn it in. 
He/she will not receive full credit for the assignment.

Absent work
If you have an excused absence, then you may make up the work.  On 
my desk, I have a folder entitled �Make-up Work�.  It is the 
student�s responsibility to get the folder and write down his/her 
make-up work.  The student has five days to turn in the missed work 
into the tray located on my desk.  After the 5th day, the grade is a 
zero.

Major assignments/projects
All major assignments/projects that the due dates were set far in 
advance are due on that date.  If the student is absent, the work 
needs to be dropped off to me by 2:40 PM.
Grading Scale
Most assignments are worth 100 points with the exception of essays 
and projects. Essays are worth 200 points and projects are worth up 
to 300 points.
