BUG BUSINESS

5/21 - 5/25
It's hard to believe this is the last full week of school. It's been an 
exciting year and I'm so proud of all the students'accomplishments. The 
students will be reading "Mr. Popper's Penguins" this week but will not have 
a test on Friday. We will have related activities in class.

The cut off for Accelerated Reader tests will be May 23 and AR Awards will be 
May 29.
Please check your houses for yellow plastic book bags and class independent 
reading books. I truly think I have most of them. Thanks to the students for 
being so responsible with them.I WILL COLLECT READING LOGS ON WEDNESDAY, TOO.

We will continue in Social Studies with Unit 6, Sharing History.

I hope everyone read the note from Chelsea Haskew about the END OF THE YEAR 
PARTY. I know the second grade students will enjoy the water games. Dress 
them accordingly!!
