Re: Christmas Program

We are very excited about our 2009 Christmas Choir and Band Program.
Although tomorrow is a performance celebrating Christmas and our children’s
hard work, it is important to remember that we will be in our Church. We
have been asked not to congregate inside the Church before or after
performances in order to maintain the reverence and respect it deserves.

Day Time Concerts

11:15 Concert (3rd and 4th grade choirs, 4th and 5th grade bands.)
Doors will open to parents and the community at 11:05.

1:20 Concert (5th-7th grade Chorale, 6th and 7th Symphonic Band)
Doors will open to parents and the community at 1:10.

Day Time Concert Guidelines
•	No one will be allowed in the Church before the times given above.
•	Please enter and find your seats quietly as we will be warming up and
preparing for our performance.
•	At the conclusion of our concerts all guests will be dismissed. If
you would like to congratulate your child, please meet them in between the
school and the Church. Children will not be dismissed until the Church is
empty, and again we have been asked not to congregate in the Church after our
performance.
•	Children will wear school uniforms, no sweatshirts. (They can also
wear Santa hats, elf ears, etc.)

7 PM Concert (5th-7th grade Chorale, 6th and 7th Symphonic Band)

•	Call time for the concert is 6 PM. Band (non-Chorale) students will
meet in the Church. Chorale students will meet in the choir room.
•	Doors will open to parents and the community at 6:50. No one will be
allowed in the Church before this time. However, Vosbein Hall will be open
beginning at 6 PM for your convenience. You can wait here until concert time!
•	At the conclusion of our concert all guests will be dismissed. Once
the Church is clear we will begin the process of cleaning up and dismissing
students to Vosbein Hall. Any parents wishing to help with this process will
be asked to remain quietly in Church. Again, we are asked not to congregate
in the Church before or after our performance. If you would like to
congratulate your child, or socialize with our wonderful SCR music family,
please do this in Vosbein Hall. It is reserved for us until 9 PM on Thursday
night.
•	Dress for the 7 PM Concert is Band/Chorale uniforms. Note: Any
child not in proper uniform will not perform. Proper uniform is listed on
both the band and chorale webpages and is attached to the homework site for
today’s assignments.

Thank you for all you do to support our music programs here at St. Clement.
If anyone is interested in helping to move equipment over to the Church, we
will begin that process at 7 AM on Thursday, weather permitting. We hope you
enjoy the concert and wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas!
