Friday: Christmas Celebration at 9:30 (all parents are welcomed to attend), Dismissal is at 10:30.

Thursday, we had a MYSTERY READER, MRS. CLAUSE! Colleen's mom, Mrs. Liz, came to our class, dressed as Mrs. Clause, and read us her favorite Christmas story "Mr. Willowby's Christmas Tree." She even gave our class the book to keep and our own special little Christmas tree! THANK YOU MRS. LIZ! We had a great time!
Thank you to the families who donated toys to the St. Anthony Christmas Collection! It is very much appreciated!
Next week, we will begin report card testing. Please take a careful look at your child's report card and see what skills will be assessed this quarter (here are a few: number words zero-ten, counting objects 11-20, recognizing numbers 11-20, writing 0-20 in sequence, and knowing your address (just the street name and # is fine), birthday, and phone number). If your child did not receive a "+" on a skill last quarter, please reinforce it at home. We will test those skills again this quarter. Thank you for all of your hard work at home!!
What a FUN FRIDAY we had! First, ST. NICHOLAS visited our classroom. We put one shoe outside in hopes that he would leave us a special treat if we were good boys and girls. We were very excited when we discovered what he left! We also had our CHRISTMAS ART PROJECT. We made a reindeer ornament; as well as, a special Christmas present for our parents which you will receive next week!
