WEEK OF DECEMBER 14 - DECEMBER 18:
This week we will learn about the letter "J". We will learn about Jesus, Joseph, Joseph's Coat of Many Colors, the jungle, jungle animals, etc. Special rhymes/songs include: "Jack and Jill", " John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt", etc. In Religion we will continue learning about the season of Advent and the true meaning of Christmas. In class we are counting down the days to Baby Jesus' Birthday and can't wait till this special day arrives. We have been having so much fun singing Christmas songs, listening to Christmas stories and completing many Christmas projects. The past couple of weeks have been so special and exciting!!!
*Don't forget to add the pretend flame to your pink Advent candle and to add a cotton ball to Santa's beard each night.

*FRIDAY, DECEMBER 18:
-School begins at 7:55 A.M. as usual. WEAR a plain, GREEN SHIRT to school today in place of your regular school shirt and along with the rest of your regular school uniform. Snack is not needed - We will have our  "Happy Birthday, Jesus!" Celebration. Please keep tote bags and folders home. Our Pre-K Christmas Program will start at 9:30 A.M. in the Church. Parents and grandparents are invited.
EARLY DISMISSAL following our Christmas Program - 10:30 A.M. for the rest of the school at usual locations. NO AFTERCARE
SCHOOL EVENTS:
-Wednesday, December 16: Advent All School Mass at 9:05 a.m. in the Church. We would love for you to join us!
-Wednesday, December 16: WOW Wingery and SCR Family Night tonight - 4:00 - 9:00 P.M.
-Thursday, December 17: Choir and Band Christmas Music Programs at 1:20 and 7:00 P.M.
-December 21 - January 1 - Christmas Holidays - No School - Merry Christmas - May your holidays be filled with much joy and happiness!!!!!
-Monday, January 4 - School Resumes - Happy New Year!!!!!
