THE STAR BEHAVIOR CHART:

LEVELS:

1. "Green" Level:

Everyone starts the day with their star on the "Green" level on the classroom behavior chart. Good, cooperative behavior earns a green Star for the day on the monthly chart in the folder.

2. "Yellow" Level:

First Warning - The student receives a few reminders (verbal and non-verbal warnings). If he/she continues the misbehavior, then the student must move his/her star to the lower level which is the "Yellow" level on the classroom chart.

3. "Blue" Level:

Second Warning - The student continues to misbehave, he/she must move his/her star to the lower level of "Blue."

4."Red" Level:

Third Warning - The student moves his/her star to the lowest level of "Red" on the classroom chart. Your child will recieve a red star for the day on their monthly chart and may lose some fun time.

5. If the student continues improper behavior(s), the third warning will be removed from the classroom chart, and a "sad" note with a detailed explanation of the disruptive behavior(s) will be sent home.

*Students who receive 5 green stars will be rewarded with a special treat from the treasure chest on Fridays.

*A student may move back up to the "Green" level again if he/she demonstrates good behavior for the remainder of the day after moving down a level.
