Math Facts Information

Math facts timed tests will be given every Tuesday. (Some weeks, we may
skip the test due to special schedules extenuating circumstances. You
should continue studying anyway. The tests will be noted on the "Your Week
at a Glance" page of the website.)

There are four groups of tests:
Addition Facts 0-10
Subtraction Facts 0-10
Addition Facts 0-18
Subtraction Facts 0-18

Within each group, there are six tests:
10 minutes
9 minutes
8 minutes
7 minutes
6 minutes
5 minutes

There are 100 questions on each test.

Within each quarter, all of the facts tests are averaged into ONE grade.
Therefore, you will not see the timed test grade posted online each week
because it does not count as a test grade on its own. If we take 6 timed
test within a quarter, then those 6 grades are averaged into one grade and
THAT ONE GRADE WILL BE ADDED TO THE GRADEBOOK AT THE END OF THE QUARTER.
Likewise, if we manage 8 or 9 timed tests within a quarter, then those 8 or
9 test grades will be averaged into one grade. If you want to keep track of
the average, please write down the grades as they come home each week. A
general schedule of math facts timed test follows so you can understand
exactly how it works:
