Please do not write names on manila folders.
PLEASE do not use Book Sox to cover the textbooks. Brown paper bags are free and do not destroy our textbooks the way Book Sox do. Book Sox are typically too small for our textbooks, and they permanently turn in the corners. Also, the stress on the covers pulls at the spine of the book. We have year-old texts that already look like they've been in use for several years because they were covered with Book Sox all year.
Please do NOT send handheld pencil sharpeners to school. When they are dropped and break open, the shavings ruin the finish on the floor. Please be sure that part of your homework every night is sharpening pencils.
