1st- 5th Grades:
Students complete library skills work sheets during their library time as well as check out books. Everything that your child does is graded. If a student is absent, I send work through the child's homeroom to be completed and returned. I usually give a week for the work to be completed. If a student needs help completing the work, he or she is always welcome to come see me during big recess. Any unreturned work will be given a failing grade.
First - Third grade will receive an S or N for a library grade as well as a conduct grade on their report cards.Library grades are based on effort and participation.Conduct grades are based on following class rules.
