Tests will be given in math, reading, language, religion, social studies, and science. Please refer to the student handbook for the grading scale.

Tests will be sent home as graded. Online Grades will be used for posting subject and conduct grades.

A tentative test schedule will be posted on the fourth grade web page and the class board on Fridays. Students are required to copy the test schedule in their assignment pads each Friday. Any tests missed due to absences are generally made up the day the child returns to school unless other arrangements are made.

The children are expected to review work every evening. Written assignments are given for further practice and reinforcement of a newly introduced topic. When a written assignment is incomplete or not brought to school, the child's homework grade will be adjusted accordingly. It is part of class policy to complete ALL assignments. Missing assignments will be sent home to be completed and must be turned in the following day. Consistent failure to complete assignments will adversely affect quarterly grades.

Homework is posted on the web page daily by 3:30 PM. Assignment pads as well as the fourth grade homework site should be checked nightly.

Grading Policy for Grades 3-7:

Tests/Projects:  35%                                                              

Quizzes/Homework:  30%

Exams:  25%

Participation:  10%

*Conduct grades will be given as a separate grade for each subject.
