looks to the Church for help in answering "yes" to Jesus. Each

chapter presents the truths of the Catholic faith found in Sacred

Scripture and Tradition in ways that are age-appropriate, culturally

sensitive, and varied. Particular emphasis is on the Ten

Commandments.

 

Reading: Scott Foresman Reading Street: This series is composed of

fiction and non-fiction selections. The skills emphasized include: phonics,

fluency, vocabulary, and text comprehension. Guided instruction enables

students to develop as independent, strategic readers. The particular focus

moves from literal to inferential reading.
