GENERAL POLICIES:

  • Enter the classroom quietly.
  • Do not touch instruments without permission.
  • Listen and follow directions the first time given.
  • Respect yourself and others.
  • Give everything your best effort and never be afraid to ask for help!
    GRADING POLICIES
    • 1st through 7th
      • Tests/Projects (40%)
      • Homework/Classwork/Quizzes (40%)
      • Participation/Effort (20%)
    • Conduct grades:
      • PK3/PK4: I will contact parents by phone call or note home with any behavior issues.

      • K-2nd grade: We will use a stop light system. Each nine weeks, every student will begin with 100 points in conduct. Each class, every child will begin Music on green. If your child reaches red by the end of class, 3 points will be deducted from their grade, and I will contact you via e-mail/phone call/note home.

      • 3rd grade through 7th grade: Each nine weeks, every student will begin with 100 points in conduct. Each time corrected, points will be deducted from your conduct grade.
         
         **All punish work/conduct notices must be signed by a parent and returned within two school days.
