NEW INFO FOR ALL SAINTS DAY:
Dear Parents:

Monday is a VERY IMPORTANT day for your K5 student. All Saints' Day is our
special celebration. Please send your child dressed in his/her costume.
Remember if they are not being checked out after Mass then they need to wear
their uniform under their costume and they need to bring a lunch with a drink
from home. We will begin our day parading around the school introducing
ourselves and telling about ourselves. We will go to Mass and sing a special
song about the Saints in Mass and Father will ask some of the "Saints" some
questions about themselves. We have been given permission to stay in the
church after Mass to take pictures; you will then be able to check your child
out from the church or from the house. I will have the check out form with
me.

Dear Parents, here are a few important things for you to be aware of...

Please check your child's folder every single day, and return it to school
each morning in the bookbag. Children will start having homework soon, and
there will always be daily work that you should be aware of in the folder.

Please consider becoming a "Cafeteria Volunteer" for our class. Especially
at the begining of the year, our children need help with opening milk,
tearing wrappers, etc. You are welcome to come and help with lunch any day
you are available, even if you are not signed up to be a regular Cafeteria
Volunteer. K5 classes go to the Cafeteria at at 10:30.

Please note that carpool is from 2:30-2:50 each afternoon. Parents need to
wait in their car in the line, and when you pull up to our House, Mrs. Kubat
or I will put your child in the car for you. *We are not allowed to buckle
your child up, but when you do this, please be sensitive to people waiting
behind you. Any children who are not picked up by 2:50 have to be sent to
After School Care, housed in K3B.

Your child is welcome to bring a small blanket or towel and a small stuffed
animal to rest with each day. We will send the blankets home to be washed
every Friday. We will have many "Super Sleepers" in our class!

We will begin learning Spalding in a few weeks. This is our Phonics program,
and it is amazing! Combined with our wonderful Reading series, your
children will be reading before you know it!

Check out our photo gallery. I will try to update it as I can.

Please feel free to contact us at any time. We are so excited to have your
child as a part of our K5B Class Community!
