My name is Mrs. Jill Basham and I am so excited that your child is in my
class!
This is my third year to teach at St. Joseph School. I taught Kindergarten in
Catholic schools in Monroe, LA for 8 years before that. I have a B.S. Degree
from Louisiana Tech University in Elementary Education and my Certification
in Early Childhood Education. I have also started taking courses towards a
Masters in ECE. My family moved to the Shreveport area in May of 2007 when my
husband's job transferred him here. We love this area! We have one child,
Walker, who is in K4 at SJS. We are fortunate to have Mrs. Amy Kubat
assisting our class again this year. She and I worked together the last 2
years and had a wonderful time. Mrs. Kubat is married with 3 children. Her
youngest 2 children, Harley and Dalton, are in the K Village too. I'm sure
you will hear all about our children through your children!
We are looking forward to a very exciting year in the "Duck Pond"! If you
