For Parents

Dear Parents,

The St. Joseph Library is open from 7:30 am until 4:00 pm every weekday.
Please feel free to stop by after school to see what we have to offer the
students. I am always looking for parent volunteers. Stop by the library or
give me a call if you are interested in helping out. All students need to
read the library rules. These rules need to be signed by the student and the
parent and brought back during the third week of school. The rules are
posted on my website under the Library Rules heading.

Please also remember that books are due one week after they are checked out.
A fine of $.05 will charged the student if a book is late. Also if a book is
lost or damaged the cost of replacing the book will be charged to the
student. Please help your children to remember to return books on time!
Thank you for your help!

This year each student will have a library card with which he/she with check
out library books with. K5 - 5 grade will keep their library cards in the
library. Middle school students will be responsible for keeping their own
library cards.

Remember to check the AR quiz website frequently to see if all those books on
your children's shelves have AR quizzes. Students can take an AR test on any
book they read, it does not have to come from the school library.

Please feel free to call me at any time if you have questions or concerns
about anything related to the library. I am here to help! The library phone
number is 841-8221. And don't forget the library is open at 7:30am and stays
open until 4:00pm.

I have added several hundred books to our library this summer. Stop by
and "check them out".
